Nexus Project is hosted by CORDIO East Africa. It aims to inform policy, strengthen institutions and foster thriving coastal communities through a sustainable blue economy. Working in four WIO countries – Kenya, Mozambique, Madagascar and South Africa – the project will conduct a comprehensive analysis of existing policies and practices, engage strategic stakeholders, co-create innovative pathways for a sustainable blue economy and produce knowledge products for capacity strengthening.

The project is implemented by a multidisciplinary working group whose membership is drawn from relevant institutions in Kenya, Mozambique, Madagascar and South Africa.
