In the light of the Ocean Conference taking place in New York this week, the embassy would like to highlight the work of one of Sweden’s partner organizations in Tanzania, the Western Indian Ocean Marine Science Association (WIOMSA), along with the fact that they have been invited to participate in the all-important Ocean Conference to make a stand for the SDG 14 – Conserve and sustainably use the oceans, seas and marine resources for sustainable development.
