The documentary tells the story of how Kenya Coastal Development Project ( KCDP) is being implemented in the coastal region of Kenya by seven national agencies in close collaboration with the local communities and the coastal county governments. It shows how the coastal communities are involved in the implementation process, while improving their livelihood and enhancing their capacity to sustainable manage the coastal and marine environment. KCDP focuses on the coastal and marine environment of Kenya mainly in three key areas: 1) sustainable management of fisheries resources; 2) sound management of other natural resources and 3) building the capacity of the coastal communities to sustainable utilize and manage their natural resource.
