Introducing the 2024 Tanzania Sustainable Seafood Guide

The 2024 Tanzania Sustainable Seafood Guide has been published specifically for tourism businesses, hotels, restaurants and operators across Tanzania and Zanzibar. The guide raises awareness about vulnerable marine species and encourages a shift away from over-exploited and at-risk species that are crucial for maintaining marine biodiversity and ecosystem health.

Three printed products have been produced: a comprehensive guide, a pocketbook and posters, all available in English and Swahili. The guide was created by Chumbe Island Coral Park with the support of the USAID Heshimu Bahari (Respect the Ocean) Project.
