With 15 years of operational and management experience in WIOMSA, Lilian has been instrumental in the design and implementation of WIOMSA’s projects and programmes and executing strategies that govern the day to day operational and administrative activities of WIOMSA.  Her specific areas of interest and expertise include providing high level administrative support; formulating and maintaining quality management systems in line with the required standards; multi-stakeholder event conceptualisation, coordination and implementation; networking and membership services and coordinating the WIO-COMPAS certification programme. Lilian is passionate about science communication; overseeing the production of publications such as the WIOMSA Newsbrief, Magazine and Annual Reports.

She holds a Master of Arts degree in project planning and management from the University of Nairobi, post graduate qualification in Strategic Leadership from GIBS Institute, University of Pretoria and a Bachelor of Arts degree from University of Nairobi, Kenya.
