Dr. Jorge Santos

Associate professor, Norwegian College of Fisheries Science, University of Tromsø and Arctic University of Norway

Biography

Dr. Jorge Santos is a fishery biologist and associate professor at the Norwegian College of Fishery Science where he is the coordinator of an international graduate program. 

He has several topics of research, including fish communities and food webs, ecology of coasts and estuaries, and management of small-scale fisheries. His research takes place in cooperation with researchers in different parts of the world, including the Western and Central Indian Ocean. He also has a background as an environmental consultant.
