Andriantsilavo Rabary is an expert in the blue economy, maritime economy and marine spatial planning, with a background in natural resource management, ocean policy and the Law of the Sea. He holds an Advanced Studies Diploma in Applied Oceanography, specializing in Marine Biotechnology from the Institut Halieutique et des Sciences Marines (Fisheries and Marine Sciences Institute) at the University of Toliara, Madagascar. He has worked at both national and international levels to manage and preserve marine resources for conservation and sustainability.
Andriantsilavo is committed to strengthening WIOMSA’s regional collaboration and knowledge-sharing in pursuit of sustainable development in marine sciences. He aims to foster the growth of local WIOMSA networks, motivate scientific research and establish partnerships with key institutions in Madagascar and across the region.
