Congress of the Phycological Society of Southern Africa
research-centreThe 23rd Congress of the Phycological Society (study of algae) of Southern Africa is to be held at Rocky Bay on the south coast of KwaZulu-Natal, a 30 minute drive from Durban 15th – 18th January 2008.

The conference will take the form of 20 minute oral presentations, a poster session and a field trip organized by Dr A.J. Smit. The invited speaker is Dr. N.S. Yokoya from the Institute of Botany, São Paulo, Brazil.

If you have any queries and are interested in attending the congress, please send an email to stirk@ukzn.ac.za before 31 May 2007. Please provide your contact details (preferably an email address) and indicate if you are a student.

Further details and congress costs will be sent out in June 2007.
